Bernard Snell
Bernard is an individual troubled by a lifelong identity crisis. Having hatched from a large egg, he caught sight of his reflection in a lake and noticed he had a bill. However, when he attempted to befriend the local duckling population they seemed intent only on bullying him, so he dejectedly waddled off on his own. During his long, lonely waddle, he was struck by the realisation that he was four-legged, and after a while concluded that he must be a platypus. Following an emotionally-charged inner journey of self-discovery, he eventually came to terms with his place in the world of aquatic creatures. It was then that he hit adolescence, and began to realise he was gay...

Mr Brockwell
Mr Brockwell is a very angry badger. If you ask him why he's so angry, he'll tell you that just being a badger is enough to make anyone bloomin' furious, and that if you don't believe him you should try it sometime. He is the manager of Brockwell Tours, a travel agency that operates from a dusty room on premises he shares with Dr Fangleschnard, the local taxidermist. It goes without saying that Brockwell's encounters with the taxidermist generally exacerbate his anger quite dramatically. His sett is directly beneath the taxidermist's rickety shop, and, unbeknown to both of them, Brockwell's constant burrowing is gradually undermining the building's foundations.
